The 700GL has hidden lighting blue LED below each dimmer, to facilitate handling of the lamp in dark working conditions. The left dimmer controls the background light and the right one the main slit lamp light intensity. Both are easily accessible from the examiner. Exceptional microscope optics for observation of the anterior and posterior eye segment with 6 degrees converging binocular optical system that allows comfortable examination. The diameter of the light beam extends to 14mm allowing the illumination of a larger area of the eye.

The joystick is equipped with an integrated push button used for capturing pictures from the imaging systems, recording pictures or for launching video recordings.
